Mark Skiba, Lead Instructor here, wanting to keep all the founders abreast of school happenings and updates:
As was mentioned last week, I worked for three weeks with contractors and sincerely appreciate their patience and assistance working with me while I learned from the best of them. |

|
In Early August (8-12th) I worked with McCrindle Paver Systems who were working on an intricate residential patio install, which included stairs, two patios, lighted columns, seat wall, and a built in grill area. |
The next week I was working with LPS Pavement Company on a commercial application which included parking islands with lamp posts (pictured) and sidewalks in front of a newly constructed mini-mall in Orland Park. |
 |

|
During my third week, while working with Precise Paving I was privileged to work with the “production” crew who were responsible for installing two of these driveways per day. This crew exhibited the teamwork that we here at the school like to call “rhythm.”

Seminar hosted by Chuck Taylor of Advanced Pavement Technology scheduled for the 22nd of September. Seats are still available for both the morning and afternoon sessions. For details and registration visit our website at www.paverschool.com
In spite of the shortened work week, progress continues toward the field manager’s course of improving the project quality and crew efficiency through the use of “Team Teaching” concepts. The course will focus on the applied use of Techniques and Technology which will greatly enhance any foremen. |
If you have any questions or feedback in relation to the school,
or its courses, please don’t hesitate to contact me. Until next time, |
