I am glad to announce that last weeks Permeable Paving Seminar presented by Chuck Taylor and hosted in the new School for Advanced Segmental Paving facility was a huge success.  Comments include “Two years of stumbling around can be saved by one day in the classroom.” And that the presenter was “Well versed in subject and is a skilled presenter.”

As the sun fades on the month of September, the School for Advanced Segmental Pavement continues it’s preparation for the first course of instruction.  Curriculum is being finalized for the new course titled; Team Teaching for Foremen, training and communication Skills for Field Managers.

Chuck Taylor

Chuck Taylor from Advanced Pavement Technology explains the benefits of using Bio-Aquifer Storm System (B.A.S.S.) to a full classroom mixed with manufactures, contractors and other parties interested in the latest information on this corner of the segmental paving market.

The photograph shows the apron and entrance to the new Climate controlled training facility which will allow year round training to the field managers of the Segmental paving industry.

The additional space is a sign that PAVE TECH, INC. and the founders of the School for Advanced Segmental Paving are committed to bringing the “hands-on” training that is in such a demand, back to the paving industry.

As I put an end to this update, I will leave you with two thoughts; first is a comment that was caught during the recent Permeable Paving Seminar, stating “This is a well laid out classroom and facility with comfortable surroundings.  I look forward to returning here for your next class.”  And the second is that as the pace picks up while we get ready for the first course, I encourage you and all the others of the industry to visit the school website at www.paverschool.com for the latest information and developments.

If you have any questions or feedback in relation to the school,
or its courses, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

Until next time,

Mark Skiba
